Attachment Error

Problem

Could not get/post/remove attachment. 

Possible error responses from Jira cloud on attachment actions 400, and 404 are:

• the attachment is not found.
• attachments are disabled in Jira settings.
• the issue is not found.
• the user does not have permission to view the issue.

Solution

Check the following Jira setting:

• attachments are enabled
• the user has the following permissions: 
  • View issues project permission for the project that the issue is in.
  • If issue-level security is configured, issue-level security permission is to view the issue.
