When a system is archived, Exalate can no longer reach it and marks it as Archived. This article explains what that means and how to request that the system be reactivated.
What happens when a system is archived
While a system is archived:
- Connections that use it show Archived in their status and stop syncing.
- You can't publish a new script version, deactivate, or delete a connection to that system.
- Sync data for that system (Item Sync Monitor, Sync Queue) isn't available.
Request unarchive
- Go to the Systems tab.
- Find the archived system.
- Click Request unarchive.

- In the Request unarchive dialog, you will see the number of connections that will resume syncing, click Request unarchive.
Note: You don't need to contact support separately — submitting the request queues the system for reactivation.
While the request is pending
Connections using the system show Unarchiving until it's active again. Once the system is back online, affected connections resume syncing automatically — no further action is needed.
