Given Atlassian's deprecation of the Connected apps in favor of Forge as officially announced here, we understand your concerns and we prepared this article to address your most common questions:
What is our plan?
Exalate is preparing accordingly and we are in the process of completing a Forge application before the end of the announced timeline.
What actions do I need to take?
As a user this will be a seamless move for you, once deployed you will only require to push an "upgrade" button in the listing for the deployment to complete, all integration functions will resume accordingly once the upgrade is completed.
Will the function and capabilities of Exalate change when that happens?
Absolutely not, we are committed to continue delivering the exceptional flexibility and unmatched capabilities that distinguish us.
Are there are any plans to continue on the Connect platform, or if a full transition to Forge is expected?
Given Atlassian's stance on the subject a full transition to Forge is expected, should you require to remain on the Connected app for any given reason please, raise a support ticket and we will address each case accordingly.
