Add Co-Owners to a Connection

You can invite other users to co-own a connection by assigning them the same owner rights you currently have. Co-owners can fully manage the connection, including its settings, users, and lifecycle.

You can only add co-owners after creating at least one connection.

There are two ways to add co-owners depending on where you want to start.

Method 1: From the Connection Properties Page

Use this method when you want to add a co-owner to a specific connection.

    1. Find the connection you want to manage in the connections list.
    2. Click the action menu to the Connection Properties page.
    3. In the Users and Roles section, click Add User.

    4. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

    5. Click Send Invitation.

Method 2: From the Users Tab

Use this method when you want to invite someone and assign them as co-owner across one or more connections at the same time.

    1. Go to the Users tab.
    2. Click + Add User.
    3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
    4. Select one or more connections you want to assign them to. They will be added as a co-owner to each selected connection.
    5. Click Send Invitation.

    What Happens Next?

    • After clicking Send Invitation, an automated invitation email will be sent.

    • The invited user will appear in the Connection Owners list with an Invitation Pending badge until they accept.

    • The new user will need to verify their account and set up secure access.

    • Once they accept, they will gain full owner access to the connection immediately.

    • You can resend or cancel a pending invitation at any time from the owners list.
